| Originally, this room was the
kitchen for the home and had a wood burning stove. It has now been
transformed into a guest bedroom, furnished with French Bedroom pieces,
Biedimeier bed, and Patty Bannister painting.
The next bedroom down is also a guest bedroom.
It has a private entrance to the end bathroom which services both guest
bedrooms. This room is tastefully draped and is furnished with attractive
French boudoir furnishings.

The last room on the Northwest Wing is the
bathroom. This has a separate shower and a unique claw foot bathtub which is
sitting upon a raised platform. It is 7’ in length, and this is a most
unusual size for the time period. It has gold plated feet manufactured in
October 1865, the year of President Lincoln’s assassination.
At the end of the Northwest Wing, there is a
door and a porch with two-direction stairways to the ground level. Attached
to the North Wing is an extremely large carport and an additional
three-stall oversized garage, making a total of four stalls. The garage is
finished with drywall and insulated ceilings.
